Welcome to the Wilkins Family History Web Site, which contains a brief account of the lives of my paternal grandparents, Joseph Robert Wilkins and Florence Agnes Knight of Clerkenwell, London and their ancestors.

This site will be continually updated as new material becomes available and for copyright reasons, only transcripts of census returns etc. are able to be shown.

Joseph Robert and Florence Agnes had seven children, the eldest being William born in 1907 and the youngest being Doris born in 1924, who unfortunately died as a result of an accident when she was very young.

A possible starting point for browsing this site is the Ancestral Trees page, as the biographies contain links to relevant information, eg census returns and show immediate family members.

This site has recently been updated to accommodate both small mobile devices and large desktop diplays. In landscape mode there are no restrictions on what can be displayed, but for small phones in portrait mode there are some limitations, namely that some photos have been ommitted and some ancestral trees showing immediate family are not included
